At EIBTM 2011 in Barcelona, the Future Events Experience, initiated by Newtonstrand’s CEO, Shuli Golovinski, was launched. Showcasing some powerful technology solutions from Newtonstrand, the area allowed delegates to get more involved. This area has since also run at AIBTM in Baltimore, USA and will be showcased again at this year’s EIBTM in Barcelona (November 2012).

Participants can experience emerging technologies and products contributing to the changes in the industry and provide delegates with an enhanced event experience.

Showcasing some key Newtonstrand products, the area allows delegates to download exhibitor brochures using the Newtonstrand E-Poster system. Industry speakers on the stage are broadcasted live using the Newtonstrand LiVESTUDiO. All participants have the opportunity to use the Chance2Meet system on-line prior to the event and arrange face-to-face meetings during the event at the Future Events Experience area.

The highlight of the Future Events Experience area is the Chance2Speak platform. Based on the “Speakers Corner” concept at Hyde Park in London, delegates are able to speak to a live audience at the Newtonstrand Chance2Speak stage. Instead of just listening to industry experts invited by the exhibition or event, Chance2Speak allows all participants to stand up and have their say about a hot industry topic of their choice.

“This whole concept was amazing! It is one of the first times I found as a delegate at an event I could get truly involved and talk about my key points on social media in the industry. It was a great way to network with the audience and an ideal way for industry peers to hear each other’s opinions on things that matter”.

Chance2Speak: Similar to the London Hyde Park Speakers Corner, delegates can book a speaking slot at the area to speak up about their opinions and hot topics in the industry.

Chance2SpeakLive Stage:Allows your meeting delegates to stand up and have their say! Allows more interactivity and involvement with your participants.

Chance2Meet:Structured meeting platform - delegates are able to network on-line prior to the event and to arrange meeting times at the area in advance.

Chance2Vote: Delegates can vote throughout the day about their opinions in the industry – live results are displayed on screens at the area.

LiVESTUDiO: Everything can be recorded live via the Newtonstrand LiVESTUDiO where other delegates not able to make the presentation (within the event or non-attendees) can view what is happening via Facebook and the event websites.
